Plaxico Burress Walks Out of Prison Wearing Phillies Hat, Perhaps Sending Message to Michael Vick

Hey, Mike Vick. Plaxico Burress can hear you.

The once-wounded wide receiver was released from prison on Monday morning after serving 20 months in prison for shooting himself in the leg. On the night of that fateful self-shooting, Plax was wearing sweatpants, which contributed to the accidental firing of his handgun. He seems to have learned his lesson while incarcerated, as he upgraded to what looked like cargo shorts on his way out of jail. He still kept it real with a white T-shirt and sweatshirt though, because after 20 months in the big house, you probably care more about your freedom than your outward appearance.

But one message that Burress sent was with his hat — an old-school Philadelphia Phillies cap. OK, so there’s a 98.5 percent chance that the Phillies hat meant nothing, but given that Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick said recently that Burress would be “a great addition for our team,” the speculation and guessing can officially begin.

I wouldn’t mind watching the entire game from this camera. OK, well maybe not this part of the game.
