Report: Kevin Bieksa Signs Five-Year, $23 Million Deal With Canucks

A little riot won't scare defenseman Kevin Bieksa out of Vancouver.

The Canucks defenseman has agreed to a five-year, $23 million contract with Vancouver, according to TSN.

Bieksa, who shined in the Stanley Cup Final against the Bruins, will make $4.6 million per season. The deal also includes a no-trade clause.

The 'Nucks fifth-round pick in 2001 recently completed a three-year, $11.25 million contract with Vancouver and was to hit the open market on Friday.

The 30-year-old blue liner, who broke into the NHL in 2005, had six goals, 10 assists and a plus-32 rating in 66 regular season games for the Canucks and tallied added five goals and five assists in 25 playoff games.
