Terrell Owens Not Retiring, Agent Drew Rosenhaus Says Terrell Owens' career will not end on an operating table, his agent said Tuesday.

Drew Rosenhaus called ESPN's "SportsCenter" on Tuesday to refute rumors than Owens' ACL surgery will force him to retire.

"He is a legendary healer," Rosenhaus said. "He comes back from injury faster than anybody I've ever seen."

In the 2004 season, Owens used a hyperbaric chamber to return weeks earlier than expected from a sprained ankle and broken leg to play for the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl XXXIX. But he is now 37, leading to speculation an extended NFL lockout would lead him to retire.

Rosenhaus also clarified that Owens already had the surgery in April and said Owens did not injure his knee while taping a VH1 reality show.
