Broncos Fans Planning to Purchase 'Play Tim Tebow' Billboards to Urge John Fox to Bench Kyle Orton Chad Henne had a pretty rough offseason, with fans booing him at practice, but it looks like Kyle Orton is in for a rougher year out in Denver.

The Broncos' quarterback was less than stellar in his season debut Monday night, going 24-for-46 (52 percent) for 304 yards, a touchdown and an interception, and he also had a lost fumble. As he walked off the field, fans chanted the name of third-stringer Tim Tebow. Whether John Fox wants it or not, he's got himself some quarterback turmoil.

That's only expected to get worse, too, as some Broncos fans told The Denver Post that they plan to purchase billboards that say "Play Tim Tebow."

"We believe in Coach Fox," said Jesse Oaks, one of the fans. "We're just tired of Kyle Orton. We were sitting around after Fox said he didn't hear the chants for Tebow and we figured if he's deaf, we hope he's not blind."

Oaks said the cost was $10,000 for two billboards in downtown Denver, and other fans on message boards were eager to help chip in.

While the fans' plans might be a little extreme, there's a similar sentiment among some in the Denver media. Post columnist Mark Kiszla starts his column by saying, "You're done, Kyle Orton." He later adds, "Orton has lost all credibility with Broncomaniacs," and that Tebow "looked handsome wearing a Broncos cap on the sideline." It's good to look handsome.

Woody Paige's story is titled, "With Kyle Orton at QB, Broncos have only a ghost of a chance."
