Bruins Score Five Unanswered Goals En Route to 7-3 Preseason Victory Over Canadiens

HALIFAX, N.S. — Joe Corvo and Brad Marchand each scored a power-play goal to lead the Boston Bruins to a 7-3 exhibition victory over the Montreal Canadiens on Sunday night.

Zdeno Chara and Daniel Paille had short-handed scores for the Bruins, who posted five unanswered goals after falling behind early in the first period. Gregory Campbell, Tyler Seguin and Jordan Caron also scored.

Scott Gomez, Brian Willsie and Aaron Palushaj had the Canadiens' goals.

The teams meet again Monday night in Montreal.
