The Red Sox are struggling and need a spark. Perhaps J.D. Drew can provide it.

Drew will return to the Sox lineup in the second game of the team's doubleheader with the Yankees, marking his first game since July 19. He'll bat seventh and man right field.

Jed Lowrie and Jason Varitek are also penciled in for the nightcap, with Mike Aviles and Jarrod Saltalamacchia having played in Game 1.

The Sox hitters will go up against rookie Ivan Nova, who carries a 16-4 record and a 3.62 ERA into the the game. In three starts against the Sox this season, though, he has an 0-2 record and a 7.15 ERA.  The Sox have hit .319 off the 24-year-old right-hander.

The Yankees lineup will look much different than it did in the first game, with Jesus Montero getting the call as the team's designated hitter. Montero went 3-for-4 with a home run and four RBIs on Saturday.
