Liverpool's Martin Kelly, Jordan Henderson and Jonjo Shelvey have all been named in Stuart Pierce's Under-21 England side for upcoming Euro 2013 qualifiers.

England will take on Iceland on Oct. 6 and Norway on Oct. 11, over the international break, hoping to qualify for the U-21 Euro 2013 tournament hosted by Israel.

Liverpool supporters will now have to hope that three more first teamers, or borderline first teamer in the case of Shelvey, make it through the FIFA mandated gap unscathed.

For those who like turning lemons into lemonade, this the first time in recent memory that supporters won’t have to worry about Steven Gerrard, Daniel Agger, or Glen Johnson tearing a hamstring over an international break. All three are still working back towards full fitness and, unless Fabio Capello wants to enter hand-to-hand combat with Kenny Dalglish, they will be able to spend the break recuperating in Liverpool.
