With the postseason just a few weeks away, it's time for Red Sox fans to get excited. It's also time to start thinking about a way into Fenway Park come October.

That quest begins Thursday, as the Red Sox are giving fans the chance to enter a drawing that will allow them to purchase postseason tickets on redsox.com.

The drawing began at 12 p.m. and will be open for registration until Monday, Sept. 12, at 12 p.m. for the ALDS drawing, which will take place that same day. Winners will be notified Tuesday, and those winners can purchase ALDS tickets between then and Friday, Sept. 16, at 9 p.m.

Those entrants who do not win the chance to buy tickets to the ALDS will be eligible to enter for drawings to purchase ALCS or World Series tickets, though those dates and times are not yet determined.

Winners will have a one-game, two-ticket limit when purchasing. Ticket prices for the ALDS are $140 for field box seats and loge box seats, $100 for pavilion box seats and right field box seats, $60 for grandstand seats, $40 for bleacher seats and $35 for standing room.
