If you're under the age of 30 and you love football, then there's a very good chance that you spent a good chunk of your early teenage years playing the classic video game NFL Blitz.

Pretty soon, you'll be able to pick up right where you left off.

EA Sports announced that NFL Blitz will return in January 2012. The game will be available via download on XBox 360 and Playstation 3 for $14.99.

Despite the league's recent crackdown on helmet-to-helmet hits and violent collisions, the game promises to bring the same arcade-style action that it had in the '90s. It will also have the addition of online gameplay, so you can waste your time with other Blitz players around the country.

Here's a trailer for the new game, but be forewarned: Video contains comic mischief!
