Report: Rajon Rondo, Kendrick Perkins Interested in Playing Together OverseasRajon Rondo and Kendrick Perkins were teammates in Boston for over four years. They could have their sights set on becoming teammates once again.

The two have remained close friends since Perkins was traded to Oklahoma City last season, and they've discussed the possibility of playing overseas together as the NBA lockout continues, Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports.

Rondo and Perkins have reportedly had their representatives inquire about the possibilities, and they are thought to be interested in playing in higher-paying countries, such as Spain and Russia.

Wojnarowski reports that there's currently no deal in the works, though, and that it remains unclear whether a team could financially handle the contracts required to lure in the duo.

This report comes on the heels of an earlier report that stated that at least two Spanish teams are interested in the services of Celtics captain Paul Pierce.

Rondo and Perkins played together from 2006, when Rondo was drafted, until this past season, during which the Celtics dealt Perkins to the Oklahoma City Thunder along with Nate Robinson in exchange for Jeff Green, Nenad Krstic, a 2012 first-round pick and cash.
