There’s always a lot going on in the world of Boston sports, and now it’s easier for everyone to enjoy.

The Red Sox and Fenway Sports Management announced on Wednesday that the hockey games at Fenway Park scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 14 will be moved earlier in the day, so as not to conflict with the Patriots’ playoff game that night.

The BC High-Catholic Memorial game will be moved from 3 p.m. to 1 p.m., and the BC-Northeastern game will be moved to 4 p.m. from 6 p.m.

“In addition to paying proper respect to the New England Patriots, this change will allow existing ticket holders for the Jan. 14 hockey doubleheader to attend the games at Fenway Park while still having enough time to head home to root on the Patriots,” Red Sox executive vice president/COO Sam Kennedy said in a release. “We always make an effort to ensure fans are able to enjoy as many of their favorite sports teams as possible, and hope the vast majority will appreciate this change so they can enjoy both a hockey doubleheader and the Patriots playoff game.”

Gates at Fenway will open at 12 p.m. on Jan. 14.
