Athletes From North Korea, Zimbabwe Other Troubled Nations Holding Onto Olympic Hopes

The Olympics offer a unique opportunity for athletes from nations worldwide to display their incredible skills and abilities.

This summer, London is set to host the summer games and many countries anticipate their world class athletes to not only represent but honor their home nation.

Some athletes around the world may not have this once in a lifetime opportunity, though. Nations like North Korea, Kuwait and Zimbabwe are dealing with external issues, political, financial or otherwise, that could hinder the countries from making an appearance at the games.
