Kyle Turris did a big no-no during Saturday's Bruins-Senators clash in Ottawa.

The Senators forward lined up Joe Corvo along the boards, charged at the Bruins defenseman and left his feet to deliver a crushing blow. The hit, which frustrated NESN's Jack Edwards and likely countless Bruins fans, left Corvo momentarily shaken up.

Turris only received a two-minute boarding minor for the hit, but it wouldn't be too surprising to see him soon get a phone call from league disciplinarian Brendan Shanahan. Given the violent nature of the hit, how long he had Corvo in his sights and the fact that he left his feet to deliver the hit, Turris might not be able to escape a suspension.

However, if Turris does fan a ban, it'll be interesting to see how long Shanahan gives him, as consistency hasn't exactly been a hallmark of NHL discipline this season. One thing we can guarantee, though, is that we'll have a fancy video explaining the decision.

Until then, check out the equally fancy video below that shows Turris' hit. Then, leave your thoughts.
