It was good to see Tiger Woods back in action over the weekend and golf fans can expect to catch the seemingly renewed Tiger playing again soon.

Woods has added three upcoming tournaments, including the Honda Classic, to his upcoming schedule. He announced the plans on his website on Tuesday, noting a return to the Honda Classic for the first time since 1993, when he was still an amateur.

It's the second time this year that Woods has decided to play a tournament not usually on his schedule. He played in the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am for the first time in over 10 years just last week to mixed results.

He performed well overall in his first tour event of the year, finishing 15th with a -8 over the four days. There were plenty signs of the old Woods as well as some indications that he still hasn't quite resolved some of his recent struggles.

Sitting in third place and just two strokes back of the leader heading into Sunday's final round, Woods looked primed for another Sunday run to the championship. But, even being paired with longtime rival Phil Mickelson for the final 18, Tiger seemed to fall back into some bad habits. The former world's no. 1 posted a miserable 75 (+3) in the final round and finished 11 shots back of the eventual champion, Mickelson.

Woods will play the Match Play Championship in Arizona next week, followed by the Honda Classic on March 1-4 at PGA National in Palm Beach, Florida and the Cadillac Championship at Doral in Miami.
