For the first time in history, the Super Bowl will be viewable online.

The NFL will be streaming the entire Super Bowl on its website — NFL.com — for free. Starting at 2 p.m ET, football fans can go visit the website and watch the pregame festivities. The website will carry everything needed up until the big game.

NBC Sports will also have the game streamed on its website, and will be offering bonus coverage throughout the day. In addition, Verizon will also allow its users to stream the big game for a small fee.

Be sure to log onto to NESN.com and follow our live blog with Patriots beat writer Jeff Howe to get the latest updates and analysis from the Super Bowl showdown between the Patriots and the Giants.
