Marlins Park Welcomes Fish That Will Be on Display in Aquarium Behind Home Plate (Video)

The Miami Marlins' new ballpark, Marlins Park, is going to be one of baseball's most unique when it opens for the 2012 season.

But one of the strangest — and most creative — aspects of the new stadium is an aquarium that's on display behind home plate. The fish that will take up residence in that aquarium arrived this week, so we've officially got our first glimpse of how the sport's most unique backstop will look this season.

Marlins Park will also feature a weird outfield sculpture that will do all sorts of crazy things when the Marlins hit a home run.

These features don't exactly scream "baseball" and are things you probably never thought you'd see when it comes to our national pastime, but it's very real. Odd, but real.
