The Madness is fully under way. And the field of 64 is already dwindling, just one day into this year's tournament.

VCU was the big winner on Thursday, as Shaka Smart led his team to another upset victory in what's becoming typical cinderella fashion for the Rams. Meanwhile, Colorado knocked off UNLV and reigning NCAA champion UConn found themselves on the wrong side of a route this year, falling 77-64 to Iowa St.
