Latin Americans Have Scored Over One-Third of All Serie A Goals This SeasonIt’s not a news flash that Italians aren’t necessarily known for their forwards, so clearly foreign representatives are likely to be the leading scorers in the local league. However, it seems Europeans are lacking, as it is Latin Americans dominating the league.

While Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Antonio Di Natale continue to represent Europe well, various South American players have continued to dominate the league.

Edinson Cavani continues to score freely: he recently scored his 100th goal in Italy (64 with Napoli and 37 with Palermo).

Despite not living up to earlier expectations, Diego Milito has also contributed consistently with Inter Milan as has his compatriot Ricky Alvarez. This is not necessarily a fact isolated to Italy.

With the Argentinean duo of Manchester City (Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero) dominating the league recently, South Americans are making a comeback in Europe despite many players deciding to play in their local leagues.
