Stan Van Gundy and Dwight Howard are making things real awkward for basketball fans in Orlando.

Just a day after a rumor surfaced that Howard wanted Van Gundy fired, the head coach told the media that the rumor was, in fact, true.

“I know he has,” he said. “That’s just the way it is. Again, I’ve been dealing with that all year. It’s not anything real bothersome. You go out and do your job.”

And how did he know that Howard wants him out?

“I was told it was true by people in our management right from the top,” the coach said.

Moments later, Howard stormed the interview and put his arm around his head coach to make things even more awkward. Check out what happened next by clicking below (caution: strong language).
