Albert Pujols did something on Sunday that he hadn’t done all year. He hit a home run.

The start to Pujols’ tenure in Los Angeles has been absolutely forgettable, as the slugger has struggled out of the gate under the enormous expectations that came with his move to the Angels.

He finally broke through in the Halos’ series finale with the Blue Jays on Sunday afternoon, however, hitting his first home run since his move to the American League.

Pujols’ teammates weren’t going to let him enjoy his first round-tripper of the season without poking a little bit of fun at him.

When the slugger returned to the dugout, he was greeted by, well, nobody. All of the Angels who were in the dugout had retreated down the tunnel, leaving Pujols by himself in the dugout. That was until the Angels returned to the bench to give Pujols a hearty round of congratulations.
