Guillermo Mota has been suspended 100 games after testing positive for a performance-enhancing drug.

The Giants reliever tested positive for Clenbuterol, a steroid, resulting in the second positive test he has been flagged for. He also tested positive for PEDs and missed the first 50 games of the 2007 season, when he was with the Mets.

Mota’s suspension will begin immediately, which means he’ll be eligible to play for the team again later this season. If he tests positive a third time, he will face a lifetime ban from baseball.

The 38-year-old is 0-1 with a 5.06 ERA for the Giants this season.
