Damon's returned to the Fens as a Yankee, Tiger and Ray since leaving the Red Sox after the 2005 season. Thursday night, he'll be sporting a Cleveland Indians jersey.
Damon is one of just a handful of active players that were on the 2004 Red Sox team. Besides David Ortiz and Kevin Youkilis — both still with the Sox — Damon, Bronson Arroyo and Derek Lowe (also an Indian) are the only three active players who were on that '04 championship squad. Although something tells me that Gabe Kapler is still in playing shape.
