After more than three days of anxious waiting, the top two free agents on the market finally agreed to new deals on Wednesday. And forward Zach Parise and defenseman Ryan Suter will share a new home, with the two highly sought after stars both signing with the Wild.
Minnesota dished out a combined $196 million to lock up Parise and Suter for the next 13 years, with both players carrying identical $7.538 million cap hits over the course of that term.
The pair instantly make Minnesota a force to be reckoned with in the West, but the signings will have far-reaching effects across the entire NHL landscape.
