Major League Baseball is full of insane catches and outfield heroics. But not every day has a grab that brings back memories of Willie Mays‘ incredible catch — or two of them.
Ben Revere and Matt Joyce did the trick Sunday, chasing down long fly balls by the Red Sox’ Jarrod Saltalamacchia and the Orioles’ Taylor Teagarden, respectively.
Both Revere and Joyce took their basket catches right up to the wall, with Revere turning and gunning his ball back for another out while Joyce got to jog off the field as pitcher David Price cheered his effort.
