Man Drilled in Head by Ground Rule Double After Red Sox Fan With Glove Ducks Out of Way (Animation)

Most fans show up to the ballpark hoping in the back of their heads to catch a baseball. When the opportunity presents itself, however, some fans react better than others.

One Red Sox fan visiting Camden Yards had a chance to catch a Matt Wieters ground rule double in the sixth inning of Wednesday's game. However, despite having brought a glove to the game for that exact reason, he (or she) dove out of the way of the bouncing baseball.

That would have been fine, except the fan sitting behind the dodger had no time to react and was drilled in the head by the ball. Check it out in the animation below.
