Barack Obama Weighs In on NFL Replacement Officials, Says Both Sides of Aisle Want Lockout to EndYou know things are getting serious when the president steps in to give his opinion, especially in the middle of a campaign.

That's where we are with the NFL officials at this point, as Barack Obama has taken to Twitter to give his take on the NFL officials lockout. He did so in an unsurprisingly diplomatic way.

See the tweet below.

This isn't the first time the president has discussed the officiating mess. He weighed in on the debacle when speaking with a Cleveland radio station last week.

"But one thing I got to say, though, is it just me or do we have to get our regular refs back?" Obama said, according to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel.

He was also quick to say that he was going to stay out of it, though.

"I can't get involved with it, but I'm just expressing my point of view as a sports fan."
