The Bruins’ road to the 2011 Stanley Cup didn’t get off to the best of starts, but as the B’s headed north to Montreal in their first-round series, the momentum began to build.
After winning Game 3 to avoid falling into a 0-3 hole against their rivals, the Bruins had a chance to even the series at two games apiece — if they could find a way to win at the Bell Centre once again. It wouldn’t be easy.
The Canadiens attacked early and often, leaving the Bruins with several deficits to make up over the course of the game. In the end, the B’s were able to force overtime, and then they waited for someone to make a big play.
