David Ortiz became a superstar during the 2004 Major League Baseball postseason.

The Red Sox won their first World Series title in 86 years, and Ortiz played a huge role in Boston’s success, delivering several clutch hits en route to championship glory.

Ortiz and several teammates stopped by “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on Nov. 1, 2004, just days after the Red Sox completed their four-game sweep of the St. Louis Cardinals in the World Series.
