College hockey is heating up, and even though Wisconsin sits in the middle of the pack in the Big 10, Friday’s rout of Penn State produced one of the most beautiful goals of the season.

Junior forward Joseph LaBate rocketed a shot on goal, which ricocheted off of Penn State goalie Matthew Skoff and onto the stick of Wisconsin’s Tyler Barnes. Barnes stepped up and one-timed the puck between his legs with his back to the net for the impressive goal. Despite what the announcers said, it certainly didn’t look like luck.

Wisconsin beat Penn State 7-1.
