The Masters doesn’t start until Thursday, but the annual Par 3 Contest at Augusta National is a can’t-miss event.

While the players’ children usually steal the show, the golfers themselves don’t just throw in the towel despite the casual atmosphere. Previous winners include Ben Crane (2006), Mark O’Meara (2007), Luke Donald (2011) and Louis Oosthuizen, who shot a 21 in 2010. Ted Potter Jr. won last year’s contest with a 23.

No winner of the nine-hole contest has ever won the Masters in the same year.

As usual, coverage will be offered online at Masters.com. On Wednesday, the Par 3 Contest tees off at noon ET, but online coverage doesn’t start until 3 p.m. Check it out by clicking below.
