The caution flag flew Saturday night at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race for a very different reason than usual.

There was no wreck, there was no debris on the track and there wasn’t anything car-related that would slow the race.

There was, however, a presumably drunk and shirtless man hanging out on the catch fence that hangs over the track at Richmond.

There’s video, too.

Eventually, the fan was removed from the catch fence, and the race was able to continue. However, at least one driver was a little perturbed by the delay.

“That caution put me two laps down. Knucklehead,” Denny Hamlin said, according to FOXSports.com. “If he wants to play in traffic, it’s his problem.”

Brad Keselowski, who eventually won the race, was able to laugh at the situation a little more.

“Somebody climbed the fence?” he asked, according to FOXSports.com. “The Miller Lite was working. That’s my reaction: Wow! That’s something. Wonder if he got a selfie.”
