BCThe Boston College Eagles will take the field Saturday against 24th-ranked Clemson as 5.5-point home underdogs at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com in the teams’ annual meeting for the O?Rourke-McFadden Trophy.

The Eagles are coming off a convincing 30-14 road victory over North Carolina State as 2.5-point underdogs, improving on their Atlantic Coast Conference-best ground game with 310 rushing yards.

Clemson returned to The Associated Press Top 25 with a 23-17 win over Louisville last weekend, failing to cover as a 8.5-point favorite. It was a costly victory, however, with Tigers freshman quarterback Deshaun Watson suffering a broken finger that will sideline him for a month.

The Tigers, who are 5-1 straight-up and 4-2 against the spread in their last six against BC according to the OddsShark College Football Database, will hand the ball to backup QB Cole Stoudt, who continues to recover from a shoulder injury suffered two weeks ago in the Tigers? 41-0 thrashing of NC State.

In other ACC action, Louisville is a heavy 14.5-point favorite against NC State at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The Wolfpack look to end a three-game losing streak, 1-2 against the spread, while the Cardinals hope to reward bettors with a third straight win ATS.

No. 2 Florida State faces its toughest challenge of the season in Saturday night?s Fighting Irish vs. Seminoles betting matchup at Doak Campbell Stadium. The ‘Noles are 11.5-point favorites over undefeated No. 5 Notre Dame, in a game that is crucial to both teams? rankings and College Football Playoff hopes.

While Florida State continues to ride the nation?s longest current winning streak, now at 22 games, the Seminoles have struggled ATS, 1-6 in their last seven. The undefeated Irish are playing just their second away game of the season and are a middling 3-3, SU and ATS, in their last six on the road.

Following their stunning 31-25 win over No. 22 Georgia Tech as 3.5-point underdogs, the Duke Blue Devils are slim 2.5-point favorites over Virginia. The Cavaliers have enjoyed success in recent visits to Duke, 6-3 SU in their last nine, but have been a betting disappointment, just 1-6 ATS in their last seven road dates against the Blue Devils.
