Peyton Manning wouldn’t discuss a potential playoff meeting with the Patriots, but Broncos teammate Chris Harris Jr. already had a hypothetical rematch circled on his calendar, just hours after New England blew Denver’s doors off Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

That’s assuming a lot. The Patriots’ blowout win put them in the driver’s seat for home-field advantage in the AFC, which means Denver might have to return to Gillette if the teams meet in the playoffs. However, a lot can change between now and then. New England won the regular-season matchup last season before Denver regained home-field advantage and eventually won the AFC Championship Game at Mile High.
“Look at the playoffs last year. It was different last year,” Harris said, via WEEI.com. “We?€™ll see them again. We have to try and get the home-field advantage. This game always comes down to it, but they got the lead on us, so we have to win out.”
