It’s been a banner year for offensive linemen scoring touchdowns.
A few weeks ago, a 350-pound Arkansas lineman delighted fans by tossing an athletic touchdown pass on a trick play. On Saturday, though, a big man got the chance to be on the receiving end of a TD, and he sure made the most of it.
During Saturday’s matchup between FCS school Mercer and NAIA school Warner, offensive lineman Thomas Marchman caught a screen pass inside the 10-yard line and rumbled into the end zone for the score.

The touchdown was cool, sure, but what made the play was Marchman’s awesome celebration afterward.
Not only was his bowling pin celebration spot-on, but watching the 287-pound freshman cartwheel around the end zone without a care in the world has to bring a smile to your face.
Marchman was flagged 15 yards for excessive celebration on the play. More like excessive awesomeness.
Mercer went on to win 56-0.
