Good luck getting Bill Belichick to sign off on this one, Chandler Jones.

The New England Patriots defensive end apparently is still riding the high of a Super Bowl win, and he’s ready to take on all comers. Apparently that includes his brother and UFC star Jon “Bones” Jones.

Chandler told TMZSports.com he thinks he could take his brother in a fight. He’s so confident, in fact, he’d love to get into the Octagon with Bones to prove himself.

“Me and my brother used to fight all the time when we were young … and I’m pretty sure I can take him down now. I am way bigger than he is,” Chandler explained to TMZSports.com. “It will be fun if we actually did a one-round match for charity … that would be fun. If I win, he would have to donate to the charity of my choice and vice versa.”

We’re not sure, but there’s probably something in Chandler’s contract that prohibits him from getting into a ring with professional fighters, especially fighters with 21-1 career records.

And again, there’s the whole process of getting Belichick to give the OK, which Jones is understandably pessimistic about.

“I don’t know how my coach would feel about it. I don’t think it would fly,” he told TMZSports.com.
