He’s back.

Kevin Garnett made his triumphant return to Minnesota against the Washington Wizards on Wednesday in his first game with the Timberwolves since being dealt at the NBA trade deadline. To say the fans were excited would be an understatement.

The crowd went wild for KG as he was re-introduced with a video tribute and some pyrotechnics.

But the KG madness didn’t just start at game time. Fans were on their feet during the T-Wolves’ warmups, too.

Garnett didn’t have much of an impact in the game — he had just five points in 18:38 of playing time — but the Timberwolves managed to pull off their 13th win of the season in a 97-77 rout. The only downside to the Big Ticket’s return is that he didn’t have the chance to play against former Boston Celtics teammate Paul Pierce, who was out with a bruised knee.
