While the Boston Red Sox were in Jupiter, Fla., on Monday for their spring training game against the St. Louis Cardinals, NESN announcer Don Orsillo tried his hand in left field at JetBlue Park in Fort Myers. Let’s just say it didn’t go so hot.
We appreciate the diving effort from “Donny Kid,” but he’ll need to get his timing down if he wants to compete with Ramirez.
Come April, expect to see Orsillo in the booth at Fenway Park more often than he’s in front of the Green Monster.
