7:15 p.m.: Pot Roast is off the menu, according to ESPN’s Josina Anderson.

Knighton had drawn interest in free agency from a number of teams, including the Patriots.

7:04 p.m.: It’s official. DeMarco Murray is joining Chip Kelly and Co. in Philly.

6:30 p.m.: The Patriots have made official the signings of cornerback Chimdi Chekwa, Freeny and defensive lineman Jabaal Sheard.

6:04 p.m.: Tight end Jordan Cameron is staying put in Cleveland, per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

5:50 p.m.: The Patriots didn’t land Dwight Freeney, but they did the next best thing by acquiring former Dolphins linebacker Jonathan Freeny.

5:10 p.m.: Speaking of running backs, Trent Richardson is on the market. The Colts announced his release Thursday afternoon.

5:05 p.m.: Brandon Browner is expected to make a hefty sum in New Orleans, according to Adam Schefter.

4:50 p.m.: The Eagles are loading up on running backs. They’ve officially signed Ryan Mathews, just hours after reportedly landing DeMarco Murray.

4:13 p.m.: Former Broncos safety is teaming up with Bill O’Brien in Houston, per Schefter.

3:01 p.m.: He’s baaaaack. Cornerback Antonio Cromartie has reached an agreement with the Jets, according to Adam Schefter.

2:59 p.m.: Offensive lineman Evan Mathis could be suiting up for the Patriots this season, Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald reports.

2:37 p.m.: Brandon Browner is the newest member of the New Orleans Saints, according to Mike Garafolo and Adam Schefter.

2:25 p.m.: Justin Forsett is reportedly staying put in Baltimore. Following a breakout season in which he rushed for 1,266 yards, the running back and the Ravens have reached an agreement on a three-year deal, per Adam Schefter.

2:15 p.m.: Evan Mathis’ Twitter mentions might have just blown up.

2:10 p.m.: The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t done yet. Chip Kelly and Co. are reportedly trying to trade All-Pro left guard Evan Mathis, according to Ian Rapoport.

12:35 p.m.: The Patriots have restructured wide receiver Danny Amendola’s contract. Here are the figures from ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

12:18 p.m.: And just like that, it sounds like the Dallas Cowboys are getting ready to move on without DeMarco Murray. Dallas is looking at other running back options, according to Adam Schefter, seeming to indicate they’re out on Murray.

Yahoo’s Charles Robinson gave this tidbit, too.

12:15 p.m.: Again, the latest news on DeMarco Murray is that he’s expected to sign with the Eagles, which we’ve known all morning.

10:26 a.m.: The latest on DeMarco Murray is there’s nothing new on DeMarco Murray, really.

9:33 a.m.: In other free agency news, the market for Nick Fairley looks to be intensifying. The New England Patriots reportedly had interest in the former Detroit Lions defensive tackle, and they are far from alone, according to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport.

9:29 a.m.: How big is the DeMarco Murray chase for Chip Kelly? This big, apparently.

9:18 a.m.: Things are really getting interesting now in Philadelphia.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter — who broke the news just minutes ago that DeMarco Murray is expecting to sign with the Eagles — now says that move could affect another one of the Eagles’ offeseason decisions. Philly and running back Ryan Mathews came to terms on a contract, but as Schefter pointed out just now on Twitter, that deal hasn’t been signed yet.

That could ultimately mean Mathews changes his mind and backs out of the contract. The Eagles already have seen Frank Gore do the same this week, although for different reasons, as he eventually signed with the Indianapolis Colts.

9:02 a.m.: DeMarco Murray is on his way to Philadelphia, and he’s expecting to become a member of the Eagles, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

There are obviously more details on the way, and as Schefter says, the Cowboys will have a chance to match, but this potential move could signal a pretty significant shift in power in the NFC East, if and when the deal is finalized.

6:05 a.m.: Overnight, the Chicago Bears continued their busy offseason by finalizing deals with wide receiver Eddie Royal and safety Antrel Rolle, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

6 a.m.: Wednesday was another busy day in the NFL with a handful of the top free agents signing on the dotted lines with new teams.

Big-name offensive weapons like Julius Thomas (Jacksonville) and Andre Johnson (Indianapolis) made their final decisions while the New England Patriots bolstered their defense by reportedly signing outside linebacker Jabaal Sheard to a two-year contract.

There are still some dynamic players left on the market, though, arguably none of them better than running back DeMarco Murray. According to reports, a handful of team have expressed intersest in Murray. That includes Oakland, Jacksonville, Arizona and Dallas, according to reports. The one team really making a push is the Philadelphia Eagles, who will meet with the running back Thursday, according to NFL Media. Murray’s former team, the Cowboys, is still laying in the weeds and could make a run to re-sign Murray.

Other top names still on the market include: wide receiver Percy Harvin, defensive tackle Nick Fairley, defensive tackle Terrance Knighton, outside linebackers Derrick Morgan and Brian Orakpo and wide receiver Michael Crabtree.

We’ll be keeping an eye on those players and the rest of the free-agent pool as the NESN.com free agency live blog rolls into the third day. Be sure to check back throughout the day for the latest.
