Darrelle Revis could be cut by at any moment, and as soon as the New England Patriots make it official, at least four teams will be knocking down his door.
The Patriots and New York Jets no longer are the only two suitors for the All-Pro cornerback’s services. The Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs and Oakland Raiders are “fighting to get into the mix,” NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday morning.
The Patriots reportedly will turn down Revis’ $20 million option before Tuesday’s 4 p.m. ET deadline. He will hit free agency as soon as he is officially released.
