John Axford Watched Part Of Mayweather-Pacquiao Through Someone’s Window (Video)

John Axford was one slightly creepy, but mostly resourceful, guy Saturday night.

With the Colorado Rockies in San Diego over the weekend, the reliever had to get creative to watch the fight of the century between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao that was taking place in Las Vegas. The Rockies game didn’t end until just a few minutes before the bout was set to get underway, meaning bars were packed and he couldn’t make it back to the team hotel in time, so he settled for the next best thing: Watching from the street through someone’s apartment window.

The good news is, he wasn’t alone.

The street-watching party sounded a heck of a lot more exciting than the fight, as there were some serious cheers when the apartment owners moved a chair that was obstructing views.

Fortunately for Axford, he upgraded his seats shortly after, catching the rest of Mayweather’s victory from a bar.

He’s right, this story is better and funnier.
