Andrew Luck ‘Looks Good Right Now’ To Play Vs. Patriots, Colts Coach Says

Andrew Luck could return to the field for Sunday night’s much-anticipated matchup between the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts quarterback has missed the last two games with an injured right shoulder and officially is questionable for Sunday’s game, although head coach Chuck Pagano seemed relatively optimistic about Luck’s status when speaking with reporters Friday.

The Colts have gone 2-0 in Luck’s absence with wins over two bad teams: the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans.

Even if Luck does play, it shouldn’t matter much to the Patriots. After all, Luck has struggled mightily against coach Bill Belichick’s teams during his brief NFL career.

The fourth-year pro has played four games against the Patriots, including playoff matchups in each of the last two seasons. He has averaged 273.5 passing yards with a total of six touchdowns and 10 interceptions in those four games, all losses.

The Patriots won last year’s regular-season meeting 42-20 in Indianapolis.
