A Louisville basketball fan doesn’t care what anyone says: He’s standing by his coach.
Rick Pitino and the Louisville Cardinals are in the midst of a controversial investigation regarding their Division 1 basketball recruits in light of a recent book published by former escort Katina Powell, who claims prospective athletes were given sexual favors on their official visits to Louisville in hopes of coercing the players to attend the university.
Pitino claimed to know nothing about the situation — and former players have backed him up — but many pundits have called for Pitino to resign amid the scandal.
One fan is not putting up with that line of thinking, though, and doubled down on his support in a permanent manner.
Regardless of Pitino’s level of knowledge and involvement, the creepiness factor alone makes this a terrible decision.
