Clippers’ Blake Griffin Ejected For Playing Defense In Loss To Bulls (Video)

This was one of those plays that replay should have helped on, not taken away from.

Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin was doing a decent job defending Chicago Bulls forward Taj Gibson on Thursday when Griffin bit on an upfake and tried to recover by swiping at the ball when Gibson put up a shot.

This was the result.

OK, so it looks bad, but it probably wasn’t worthy of an ejection, especially considering Griffin’s obvious “Oh no, I didn’t mean to do that” reaction immediately following the blow.

The Clippers lost to the Bulls, 83-80.
