MASHANTUCKET, Conn. — Boston Red Sox fans learned some fun facts about a few prominent members of the organization Friday night at Foxwoods Resort Casino.

The Red Sox kicked off their Baseball Winter Weekend festivities with the team’s annual Town Hall event. Much of the conversation throughout the evening centered on Boston’s eventful offseason and high aspirations for 2016, but a couple of fans went in different directions with their questions.

Red Sox principal owner John Henry, chairman Tom Werner, president Sam Kennedy, president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski, general manager Mike Hazen and manager John Farrell were seated on stage, at which point certain audience members picked their brains. One fan asked the six gentlemen about their favorite movies and the responses varied greatly.

Henry: “Fever Pitch”
Werner: “Major League”
Kennedy: “Shawshank Redemption”
Dombrowski: “Gladiator”
Hazen: “Braveheart”
Farrell: “Jaws”

Another fan focused on baseball yet strayed from asking about this year’s team. Instead, the fan wanted to know which Major League Baseball player was each men’s favorite growing up. That inquiry also yielded some interesting responses, which can be found below.

Henry: Stan Musial
Werner: Willie Mays
Kennedy: Wade Boggs
Dombrowski: Mickey Mantle
Hazen: Jim Rice
Farrell: Tom Seaver

Tune in to Red Sox Town Hall on NESN on Sunday, Jan. 24, at 7 p.m.
