Brandon Marshall apparently still is reveling in the New York Jets’ most recent win over the New England Patriots.

Marshall was asked on Twitter early Wednesday if Bill Belichick “haunts his dreams,” and the Jets wide receiver took a shot at the Patriots head coach in his response.

While we’re going to assume Marshall simply was going along with the Jets-Patriots rivalry, his numbers against Belichick’s teams actually aren’t too shabby. The 31-year-old has averaged 87.4 yards per game and 15.3 yards per reception to go with six touchdown catches in nine games against the Patriots in his career with the Denver Broncos, Miami Dolphins, Chicago Bears and Jets. Marshall racked up 115 yards and two touchdowns in New York’s 26-20 overtime win over New England on Dec. 27.

However, at the end of the day, Marshall’s teams are 2-7 in those games. So we suppose he hasn’t owned Belichick completely.
