Brandon IngramThere’s a very good chance the No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft will be a player whose college basketball career already has ended. But fear not: There still are plenty of reasons to tune into the NCAA Tournament (as if you needed more).

Ben Simmons has been the projected top pick for much of the season despite the shortcomings of his LSU squad, which declined to participate in postseason play after a mediocre 19-14 campaign. But there are a few players breathing down Simmons’ neck who could increase their draft stock by making a splash in March.

Chief among them is Duke small forward Brandon Ingram, whom many project as the second overall pick and possibly could leap over Simmons if he can carry the No. 4 seed Blue Devils in the Big Dance. Then there’s Oklahoma’s Buddy Hield, a scoring machine who could take over the tournament all by himself.

The list of top NBA prospects doesn’t stop there, as there’s plenty of elite talent to keep an eye on even if your bracket already has been busted.
