Chances are you’ve never heard of, or played on, Buffalo Creek Golf Course in Palmetto, Fla., before. And you probably never will after watching this video.
A giant alligator appeared at Buffalo Creek last week, as golfer Charlie Helms and a partner were playing a round. Helms estimates the creature at 14 or 15 feet long. Helms uploaded the video on Facebook on May 25, and it since has gone viral on the Internet.
“I was stunned and silent,” Helms told ABC Action News. “I didn’t know if we were being punked or something. It was just laying down, resting, when it got up and started moving towards the big lake.”
