It’s not exactly breaking news when a travel isn’t called in an NBA game. However, when that call comes in the closing seconds in Game 1 of the Western Conference finals, people are going to take notice.

The Oklahoma City Thunder led by three points with under 20 seconds left in Game 1 on Monday, but that’s when Russell Westbrook appeared to travel as he tried to stop and call a timeout while bringing the ball up the court. But appearing to travel and actually being called for a violation are two different things.

Yeah, that certainly looked like a travel. Even people eating Oreos and picking their noses looked shocked at the no-call.

The Thunder went on to win Game 1 at Oracle Arena 108-102, but the travel that wasn’t (called) likely will be the big storyline Tuesday.
