The New England Patriots entered Friday three players shy of the 90 they’re allowed to bring to training camp. They reportedly filled one of those open spots Friday afternoon by signing undrafted offensive lineman Kyler Kerbyson.

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post, citing a source, was the first to report the signing, which raised the number of players on New England’s roster to 88.

Kerbyson started 13 games at left tackle for the University of Tennessee last season and also saw time at guard during his collegiate career. He was a two-time SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week in 2015 for a Volunteers team that ranked second in the conference in rushing yards per game.

Patriots rookies are scheduled to report to training camp Sunday, with the veterans joining them in Foxboro three days later.
