Portugal will learn its opponent in the final of Euro 2016 when France takes on Germany in the tournament’s other semifinal Thursday.
France and Germany both have yet to lose a game at the Euros, and the winner of this semifinal likely will be favored to win the European crown against the Portuguese.
France’s last major tournament win was at Euro 2000, while Germany won the last FIFA World Cup just two years ago in Brazil.
